The Arts
At Rosemont School, students learn to be musicians and artists from an early age. The school's philosophy stresses that the arts are central to education. In a program that begins at the Nursery level and extends through 8
th grade, children have the opportunity to practice, perform, and study music and art.
In addition, multiple opportunities exist to extend learning beyond the school day. The school offers private instrumental and vocal lessons. Students may join either an instrumental ensemble or a chorus. Musicians and singers take part in school liturgies, community-service visits and school productions.
Rosemont artists use their skills in many academic disciplines as well as in extra-curricular activities. Each spring Rosemont artists take part in a school-wide exhibit to which the public is invited. In addition, professional artists exhibit their work in the Great Hall of the Tudor building thus providing models of achievement for our student-artists.
