at RSHC Golf & Tennis Outing 2009
More than 150 participants enjoyed a day of competition, socializing, and superb weather at Rosemont School of the Holy Child's 5th Annual Tennis and Golf Outing on October 5 at Philadelphia Country Club in Gladwyne. (Click here to register for the 2010 Golf & Tennis Outing)

The event attracted a capacity of 124 golfers, in addition to a record 31 players in the tennis tournament, at this new fall venue. Our attendees included current parents, past parents, alumni and even current grandparents! Rosemont School also benefited from a record number of more than 40 corporate sponsors.

Tennis participants competed for top honors in the three-set tournament, while golfers were awarded prizes in categories such as longest drive, closest to the pin, low net and low gross, and even putting.

During the evening's reception in the Philadelphia CC ballroom, attendees were awarded more than 20 raffle prizes. Prizes included Flyers' and Sixers' tickets, and a framed, commemorative copy of the front page of the October 30, 2008, edition of the Philadelphia Inquirer celebrating the Phillies' World Series championship and signed by manager Charlie Manuel.

Rosemont School of the Holy Child's 5th Annual Tennis and Golf Outing was a major fall fundraiser for the Parents' Auxiliary, which contributes money for the operations of RSHC.
