Academics

At Rosemont School of the Holy Child education begins in Early Childhood and ends at the brink of high school. The program builds on children's natural energy and curiosity. In the differentiated classrooms children are taught with learning styles and individual needs taken into consideration. They work cooperatively as well as independently on various projects designed to build on interest areas and create excitement about learning. Critical thinking and problem solving are used extensively to challenge students and reinforce earlier knowledge. The curriculum becomes increasingly challenging as the child progresses, yet students welcome the challenge and are anxious to demonstrate they can succeed The feelings of caring and respect permeate the classrooms, gym, cafeteria and halls.

From its founding, girls and boys have learned together in an environment informed by Christian values and by the high ideals of a liberal arts education. Graduating students have studied literature, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and Spanish at advanced levels. They have explored the vocabulary and structure of Latin, played musical instruments, developed singing voices, taken on leadership roles in academic projects, created art in various media, published their research through technological channels, and achieved recognition in academic competitions and national testing. Our students develop self-esteem through their maturing competence and sense of responsibility. Rosemont School of the Holy Child  is a place where faculty and staff want all children to succeed.
