Secret Santa Workshop
Friday, December 3, 2010 from 7:55 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the MPR
It's time to get into the holiday spirit and help RSHC's elves with our Secret Santa Workshop. This is not a fundraiser, but a fun day for the children to buy small gifts for family members with the help of parent volunteers.
- Students in grades K through 5 are scheduled to shop with their class between 7:55 a.m. and 12:50 p.m.
- Students in grades 6 through 8 are welcome to shop on their own during morning and lunch recess.
- Students in Nursery and PreK are welcome to shop with parents and/or guardians anytime from 7:55 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Nursery and PreK do not go as a class.
Envelopes are distributed after Thanksgiving to children in grades K to 5 to be used as a "Holiday Gift Planner." Please plan to talk to your children about their gift list and budget. We recommend that they budget between $3 and $6 per person. Some children choose to shop for one special person, and others choose to shop for many on their list.
Cash and/or checks payable to "RSHC Parents' Auxiliary" will be accepted. Students should bring their money into school in the attached envelope by Thursday, December 2.
Volunteers are needed on Thursday, December 2 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to help set up and decorate the MPR, on Friday, December 3 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. to help the children choose perfect gifts for their families and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. to help re-package any remaining inventory.
