Admissions
Welcome to Rosemont School of the Holy Child. I am delighted that you have decided to explore the educational opportunities for your child at our school. Rosemont School is a co-educational, independent school educating children from Nursery to 8th grade. We are members of a national network and international community established by the Society of Holy Child Jesus, which was founded by Cornelia Connelly in 1846. The spirit of Cornelia Connelly lives on with our students as they pursue their dreams and develop their talents.
This is a special year for Rosemont School as we are celebrating our 60th anniversary, and the dedication of our new Academic Center and the O'Neill Gymnasium. With these new facilities, our vibrant academic program develops the whole child: body, soul, mind and heart. Our vision statement, "Nurturing Excellence in a Joyful Catholic Community," underscores that all Rosemont School students are treated with dignity and respect in an intellectually challenging and creative program.
Our major entry levels are Nursery (3-year-old program) and PreKindergarten (4-year-old program). Students are admitted to other grades depending on space availability. The application process begins the October prior to the year of entry. During the admission process, families will be asked to:
- schedule a parent tour
- schedule a student visit
- submit a teacher recommendation
- submit mid-year grades (where applicable)
- submit standardized IQ testing (PreKindergarten to 8th grade).
Parents should apply to a school where their son or daughter can not only learn but thrive, and making the right decision takes time. I encourage you to begin the process early in the year to allow time to attend one of the monthly Open Houses, meet our students, and see our program in action.
Please call 610-922-1010 or email jmblair@rosemontschool.org to begin the admission process. Thank you for your interest in Rosemont School of the Holy Child. I look forward to meeting you and your family.
Sincerely,
Jeanne Marie Blair
